Yannick Bolasie loan deal

I read in the gazette our priority is a striker, I’m which case why did we allegedly spend most of today chasing a winger? All seems a bit odd.

we have been chasing a winger, that we couldn’t catch two years ago and couldn’t catch today either.
Must have a hell of a turn of speed this Bolassie fella.
Hopefully thats it now with him.
He shouldn’t have been given a second chance unless we were sure he would sign.

Its been embarassing.

I don't think Bolasie is a loss. I just don't understand going for a guy on 70k a week when publicly skint.

The same goes for Zahore (50k). I'm not having it we couldn't pick up a young forward on 10k or less (academy won't even be on that). I would actually rather of had Gregory than Bolasie. Least you know what you get and probably on half the wages.

Warnock seemed pretty adoment that one was coming through the door. We still don't know how long fletcher is out for.

I've just seen a list of 5 forwards available on a free on the gazette online..... All fecking woeful🙄

Who were the 5?

I assume you were prepared to put up the money?

Why would he put up the money?

He's not the bloke who convinced a manager to come here with promises of bringing in some players to make us competitive and then not delivered.

It's too often the same thing with boro in the transfer market now.

I wouldn't blame Warnock if he walked, he clearly didn't expect this. He's publicly said he's never known anything like it. We can't close deals. Recruitment team is stinking.

You have no idea what he was promised and the current financial situation clearly impacts or would you rather have the club go into administration?

If we could have sold some of our overpaid duds there might have been room to bring more players in.
As it is, there are 5 in (Bettinelli, Hall, Morsey, Roberts and Akpom) Half the team will be new players.
The Club has a massive deficit this season and Gibson isn't putting money in any more (Entirely his right)
What do people seriously expect?

Hes probably had more than most managers over this window but I agree it's been a strange deadline day chasing Bolasie but I certainly wouldn't be disappointed we didnt get him hes not a good player any more. One or 2 half decent frees in and well be ok although our scouts identifying the decent frees available is slim to none hopefully warnock uses his contacts.
