Saves Thomson droning on about Liverpool. I am sick off the ex Liverpool players in the media.

I guess they are ticking every box in the panel. One female / one BAME / one white guy and one with 'disabilities' in Merson😂 (that's disabilities in prononcing names and not his off field issues).

They are probably on the look out for a female Jeff. Laura Woods as she's on everything😕

I'm not the biggest fan of Sue Smith but they have worse. I've googled a few woeful females on sky.

I actually like the females brought in with the cricket. Pretty decent👍

Definitely think it needs freshening apart from Jeff who I hope stays on.

It had the odd funny moment but the actual analysis was terrible, just a string of clichés.

I thought I'd really miss Botham & Gower from the test coverage but I think it works better now.
 
Have to say I liked Le Tiss and Charlie Nicholas and I like Merse too, especially when he gets the name's wrong! Not a fan of Sue Smith at all, have to say.

She's thick as mince and offers absolutely nothing, either from experience or tactical analysis, she's just a bit easy on the eye. Why are we all lying to ourselves and each other?

P.S. Clinton Morrison, Sue Smith & Matt Murray are even worse by the way

Just been going through his Twitter. He seems to have a screw loose when it comes to Covid. Seems a sensible guy on the box aswell. Madness

Its dangerous and irresponsible spreading that level of misinformation when you have as many followers on social media. Wouldnt surprise me if that was part of the reason he has gone too.

Think the show needed a change anyway, its started to feel a bit like talksport over the last few seasons
 
Evolution. I remember thinking it’d not be as good when Gordon McQueen, Frank Mclintock, George Best and Rod Marsh were being replaced with new blood (Charlie, Thomson et al) but you got used to it and it was. It’ll be fine again when the new people bed in provided they are half decent and a reasonable personality/ laugh. Some of the dressing room style knockabout banter might be lost I guess with a mixed sex panel...maybe? Is that a good or bad thing? I don’t know. I’m sure it’ll roll on. Might be harder to replace Jeff when he packs in altogether but I guess the lad who does the midweek one currently is being groomed (and he seems to be growing into it as he goes along).
