Fry, Hackney, Coburn and Bangura nearing return from injury

I think that boat has sailed. We'd need upwards of 7 or 8 wins from 9.
If we can just get this win on Saturday and let this posse of players get back in amongst it. Especially Hackney and Coburn and bangura!

For the remaining 8 games it might be enough, lenihan could be a huge bonus because leadership on the field has been a huge factor for us or the lack of it with smith and lenihan; our two big leaders in the team

Looking much better though and beat Blackburn and we can definitely go to soton and win there!

He would have to be in the middle. Can't step up into midfield like McNair and Clarke.
Of course fry can step into midfield, I’ve watched it happen! I don’t think you can split lenihan, paddy, Rav & Fry All super players with different qualities but equally as good or important; Clarke is a bit behind those guys; he can be agricultural and give away unnecessary fouls and be the cause of goals against when up against the better forwards in the league; he’s great in the air obviously.

I don't think Lenihan gets a look in with all our centre halves fit. Good to have him in and around the changing room though.

Im not sure I agree with that, and Clarke is a lot better with the ball than Fry.

Very very true. Doesn’t suit the narrative though. People think because Clarke takes an extra touch it’s because he’s not comfortable when in fact it’s the very opposite. Much more composed than get it and Lump it Fry.

Much prefer watching the Boro with him and Barlaser not starting games for us.

Totally agree with this. Fry is too slow on the ball and it plays a big part in the opposition being able to set up the block.
