* The Unofficial "Official" Boro v Preston [02/24] Match-Day Thread *

I like the look of Azaz. He’s like Rogers in that once he starts to settle and learn the rhythms and patterns I think we’re going to have a very good player on our hands. We are just desperate for an out-and-out striker for these lads to feed and/or play off.

He’s very comfortable on the ball. Seems to have more time than most, and can see a pass.

Not bad for a player with “no talent or ability”. I’ll never get over that one. An fmttm classic

Frustrating we are behind but at least we are playing better football. We are behind due to a keeper error.

I've enjoyed it so far

This is our whole season in 30+ minutes. Knock it about well , get on top but not look like scoring. Concede to one of the first attacks we face.
It's hard enough winning a game but harder when you spend weeks playing without a striker in the strikers position.

Need him playing as a 10. I'd swap Azaz and McGree around.

The annoying thing is, if anybody just switch this game on and didn’t know both teams from the start. You would think you were watching in red a team at least in the top four and the team in white with blue shirts, struggling to steer in this division without any shadow of a doubt Other than scoring have totally dominated, it’s so frustrating

I mean if we had gone in all level at half time I would’ve been gutted, just because of how dominant we’ve been the fact that we are going in one nil down beggars belief

As I posted above … it was a fortunate deflection for Preston, not a keeper error.
