He’s superb on the ball. Very rarely if ever gives it away. Much easier on the eye than Dael ‘foot through it Fry’He's really good on the ball, I think that is his natural game

I'm not so sure about that. He's looked comfortable moving out with the ball most times I've seen him. You can't pigeon hole players based on where they may have been asked to play previously.

I don't think he's easy on the eye at all which makes people think he's not very good on the ball when he is. It's no surprise that all of our centre half's look much more comfortable when we play more defensively as in the Leicester and West Brom games.

He's a real threat from set pieces also, Chelsea are poor defending corners when I've seen them play. I'm pretty certain it will be Fry and VDB v Chelsea though....

You can see why he was brightons player of the season on a couple of occasions and is exactly the type of centre back you need in the championship.

Clarke was my MOTM. Brilliant. Engel is good defensively BUT he is poor going forward. Often over hits his pass or makes the wrong decision.

At some point Engel is going to score our goal of the season, he is an average crosser but he can absolutely ping a shot!

Feel like you've got this the wrong way round. He's one of the better performing full backs in the league going forward.

I'm not sure the idea that Clarke is poor on the ball comes from?
I've always thought he looks composed, he has made the odd mistake but every single CB will make a mistake now and then.
