Missing Hackney massively. Barlaser non existent. He really struggles against the stronger teams. Offers very little defensively.

The commentators made more of that defletlection than it was. It barely changed rhe direction. Dieng didn't look ready save it if it hadn't took it.

When you watch the game alongside the commentary, you realise how much shyte they talk

It's not enough for a centre midfielder though. He played 2 or 3 good passes against Leeds as well but overall was very poor.
He will play good passes through 90 mins. But he doesn't challenge the opposition enough. He doesn't deal well woth teams pressing us in our own half. He excels when teams just sit back and he has time to ping it about.

Howson been far more effective.

Have you ever played in goal? I did, for close on 40 years, man and boy. Even the slightest deflection can wrongfoot a keeper. As far as I'm concerned, there was nothing Dieng could do about that.
 
Crooks has been very poor so far today. I wouldn't mind seeing Coburn and Latte Lath at some stage in the second half

From where I was in the East stand direction of the ball was changed massively by the defender.
 
Not quite at it today but I think it was to be expected with the amount of players we have missing. We're still well in the game at least, just need a bit of quality to try and nick a goal.

Don't understand Greenwood being on the right, shooting and creating chances is his thing but I don't think he can do either of those from the right. Needs to be cutting inside from the left and looking to create something or having a pop at goal.
 
Don’t think this is just a Hackney/Barlaser problem. That’s definitely a factor here. But there also a significant lack of width imo. Plenty of gaps in their backline that could be exploited by a quick switch and a bit of pace.
 
Think we’ve done ok as we are very patched up. Might need Sammy Silvera as we haven’t got any pace out wide. I fancy us to win this, seen much better than Ipswich this season.
