Gets slated by fans all the time. The lad is a class act. Man of the match today. Another huge moment making an assist after a bad pass from Rogers. Great finish though.

He was the best player on the pitch before that too and I’m glad Carrick kept him on for the full game today as he deserved it. Keep it up Crooksy. Superb.

The numbers he produces for the player he is are fantastic.
 
I’ve not been his biggest fan when he was being played in the wrong position - not his fault like.

But he’s been class in recent games. Excellent today. All our play ran through him.

He was MOTM and Tommy Smith also played very well. Thought he was immense first half. So many timely interceptions.
 
Really impressive - since half time against Sheffield Wednesday he has been superb.

Not sure who it was that told him to start dropping deeper and further to the right, but it has been revelatory for Crooks and the team.

Hackney doesn’t do bad games. Just class. Crooks edged it for me today though.

Hackney and Engel were 2 and third best for me!
