Boro Glasses

In fact the pint glass (erimus) one & two are the same, after buying it I poured a can of larger to drink out of & it emptied out of a little hole close to the base of the glass 😥

Do you remember the other glasses - the one’s for your eyes? Think they were ’sunnies’
They were red with BORO in white dots where normal lenses would be

Suspect they weren’t around much - zilch UV protection

My mind immediately went to spectacles when I saw the title of this thread. I'm still not sure what I expected to find, though.
Me too. My expectations for the thread were evenly split between spectacles which allow us to view the world through a rosy red/white-stripe haze, Erimus-style; or viewing it through a grey perma-cloud where everyone f***ing hates us!

Me too. I thought it was going to be about how Boro fans see things differently. Instead of 'through rose tinted glasses' we see things through 'Boro glasses'.
Sometimes I overthink things.

My Boro glasses boight from artist D Henderson at Gallery TS One Middlesbrough - coincidentally is reopening this Saturday.
Corporation Road. Opposite The Empire. The lovely Mannequin Cafe is next door.
Rob, do you think, or are you aware, if the Boro memorabilia exhibition I was to be involved in will go ahead this year?

Erimus - Ageing Better are still not running any actual events I don't think. It is really hard for them to operate things with Over 50s. I wonder whether it will be a case of waiting for a vaccine. But there should be a Discover Middlesbrough in October but am not sure whether I will be involved. If it is another virtual festival then why can't your exhibition be an online one? It is something that Tosh Warwick might be able to help with, possibly and MFC. Just like Art of Ayresome.
