When I stood on the Kop it was through choice, I could have got a ticket for the away end through MSS but I decided that if I wanted to stand on the Kop this was likely to be my last chance, I wasn't really expecting anything special and it was more of a ticking off exercise, I went in at 2ish and could feel a buzz about the place even then, it wasn't the most noisy of ends but it did have something special about it.Anfield and White Hart lane. Evening young manRoker Park in a pre-season "friendly" in 1968 - we were all in their Kop - got stoned by their "finest".
Elland Rd in 1975 when Big John scored twice, I was in their Kop, like an idiot I leapt in the air, luckily a few Boro were also in there and the Leeds fans went for them.
Goodison Park in the FA Cup mid 80s.
Maine Road in 1989.
Saltergate in 1987, I was in their main stand. The Boro were in the terracing opposite. The interaction between the two sets of fans was lively to say the least.
Hillsborough in 1990 (I think), in their Kop, when we were relegated at the last game of the season.
It might be because I've just finished a long shift but help me out here - are those matches; The KOP at Anfield against the Skunks..
Fulwell End at Joker Park - 82.
Kippax v Wolves

The whole of gallowgate sat down and me and me brother jumped up. Fortunately our Geordie mates were big lads so prevented the pile on
