Away matches with Boro where you have gone in the home areas.

I have done this a few times usually when I couldn't get tickets for the away end, can't remember having any incidents, usually I keep quiet, watch the match and leave without feeling the need to stand up and shouting " let's be having you!"!

I have done it at Old Trafford I sat in the K stand, they restricted Boro to about 600, so got my ticket through a mate who new a OT season ticket holder who wasn't going.
Liverpool twice in the old Main Stand and then next time I stood on the Kop, Blackburn when they demolished the old away end, Arsenal our 1st season back under Robson and we didn't expect to get tickets so about 5 of us got tickets next to the Boro fans even though in the end we didn't sell out there was lots of Boro sat around Arsenal that day, Watford me and mate left the pub late but couldn't be bothered to walk around the allotments so went in the home section next to the boro. Swindon on the last day of the season, I did say without incident but we could have got a slap that day. And maybe a few others I have forgot about.

Done it a few times. I can't always get away tickets if they sell out because I have very few priority points. I usually make last minute decisions to go so I get no priority points from tickets on the gate. Some times I've been with friends of the home team so we can sit together.

Been to Stoke, Preston, Blackburn, Reading, Sheff Utd in recent seasons. Never had any trouble but we had nothing to cheer about in most of them so that makes it easier. Friendly conversation with home fans at some of them. Just need to not be an idiot and celebrate if we score. Pleasant people can turn ugly if things aren't going well so best to avoid it..

Old Trafford, Roker Park twice, Hillsborough in 89. Highfield Road in a box, Huddersfield .
Think we ended up in a home section at Villareal but we'd had a few!

I've done it a lot over the years, always out of necessity of course. I've never been exposed or given myself away - just kept myself to myself.

The most notable moment for me was at the first leg of our play-off semi at Brentford in 2015. When Amorebieta whacked in his last-minute winner, I was sat on my hands trying to look desperately upset.

There was also a game at Southampton in 2004 where we were 2-0 down and scored twice in stoppage time to get a draw. Managed to control myself that time too.

Old Trafford (won 3-2 in 1999, their treble winning season) and the Etihad (1-1 2005 Schwarzer saving Fowler's last min penna.) Even though I was sat on my hands, clocked both times, but luckily decent/sympathetic home fans said nowt ....😬

Leeds when we beat them 3-0 and TLF smashed one in from 25yds. So hard keeping quiet!!!

My very first Boro game was Villa away not long after Hillsborough, so my dad took my in the Villa end. Unfortunately, they equalised in the last minute, and we got relegated.

Also been in Man Utd fans at Old Trafford. Got beat 3-0. After that I vowed never to go in with the other supporters again.

First leg of the play off semi final at Coventry this season! Was quite impressed with the home atmosphere but it is strange not talking to anybody

Manchester United, West Ham, Arsenal, Wimbledon, Bradford City, Ipswich, Leicester, Darlington and Liverpool, the cup game with the penalties.

Prenton Park once (my first ever Boro game), Anfield once (in a corporate box, which was an utterly soulless experience) and Goodison half-a-dozen times.

Work acquaintance lent me his Arsenal season tickets 00/01, Boro won for first time in 45 years 0-3, Boksic and Ricard scored, plus an own goal. Also been to Elland Road, not pleasant being amongst them, even in the most expensive seats.

2 ogs(Edu and another ) wasn't it, with Ricard or is that me just misremembering it

Couple of memorable ones

Newcastle in the Gallowgate. I think we had to win/draw to avoid relegation. Nobby Solano had a last minute penalty and blazed it over the bar. The whole of gallowgate sat down and me and me brother jumped up. Fortunately our Geordie mates were big lads so prevented the pile on

Sunderland behind the goal when Emerson scored his first blockbuster. I turned to the mackems behind me and reminded them of their racist taunts. Didn't go down well and me and my two boys left early.

Also of note
Millwall away when no away fans were allowed - got beat 3-0 thankfully

When younger quite a few, for lots of reasons.

Never really enjoyed it.

Last time was probably Villa in 2002.
