God, my memory is rubbish, I’d forgotten about him.
Who was the poster who was an ‘expert gambler’ and never lost? He kept winding up several posters on here with ‘evidence’ of his wins. It was alleged that he was a security guard who worked nights. I might be wrong but I think it might have been the same poster that Borolad kept replying to with the word ‘peanuts’.

Can't remember last time I saw Flar or one of his characters post. Forty Horse was a particular highlight. Don't think he's behind The Man Who Offered Out Schteve's Bodyguard on Yarm High Street though.That’s the one

I particularly liked the 8 dart finish thread. When people tried to explain that 9 darts was the fewest amount of darts you could finish with, he’d reply that with modern equipment, diet plans, and training methods it would only be a matter of time before the 9 dart finish is beaten.
When posters tried again to explain why it couldn’t be beaten, he’d reply that they said the same thing about the 4-minute mile and the 10-second 100 metres sprint.

I thought it was to do with the George Dawes sketch where he just repeated the word ‘peanuts’.
I always thought that you saying ‘peanuts’ was in reference to him being a bit weird, just like the George Dawes character.

I agree. It's like being back at school trying to fend off the class bullies with some of the posters on this board.
If anyone was in such a group in here it was Adi with his lickspittles fawning all over him and backing up anything he said. I’m not saying he actively pushed for it but he had many admirers due to his undoubted eloquence.

Not sure who you are referring to however I for one didn't fawn over him but still admired his contribution while not always agreeing with him. I just think that although he could be challenging at times that his rich contribution to this board was on the whole excellent. For me he is sorely missed and has left something of a hole.

I don’t think theres much slagging going on, in fact generally theyre saying that they hope he comes back. Despite having to face unnecessary abuse from him, I’d happily have him back on here. The reason I didn’t just block him when he acted that way is because he usually had interesting things to say, not always right, but at least he had an opinion. Like I said his behaviour changed from opinionated to abusive over a period of time. So I Hhope whatever’s going on in his world has eased, because abusing people on a Boro board isn’t the answer to whatever was eating him up at that time.
