There was a thread on here where some poster said the teams we beat on the way to the uefa cup final weren't very special, and everyone dogpiled.
Now we've got a thread where the uefa cup winner of last year couldn't compete in the championship.
So which is it? Is reaching the uefa cup final a piddling achievement which could easily be achieved by a mid ranking championship side, or is it an achievement to be proud of?
Personally I think that while I may have mocked Scottish football in the past, reaching the uefa cup final is scorchingly obvious proof that they are far better than a mid table championship team.
