CE Europa, I live a 2 minute walk from the ground. A very historic team formed in 1907 and one of the founding teams in La Liga. First manager on record was an Englishman Ralph Kirby who left to manage FC Barcelona. Currently in the Tercera Division, fourth tier of Spanish footy.
That's the main reason I like it more than the footy it's just a beautiful place to sit and pass a couple of hours on a sunny evening.Nice one mate. Next time I get over there I will have to see if I can take in a game! Looks a nice little ground that
They are not bad but their heyday was in the 50's, I think 5 or 6 players at that time went on to be full internationals for Spain.
Here's the ground...View attachment 4747
Thornaby for me - we seem to have some sort of link with Redcar as players keep changing between the two (or is that just coincidence?). I always though Adam Preston was great for us and expected him to go onto a higher level, but I guess there was some sort of falling out - hope he does well for you again.Redcar Athletic.
Looks like non league football will be the first to admit fans, so will be watching quite a bit of non league when it starts up again.
That’s a photo of when I went to a Barca game in 2018 Parnabys. Against Roma in the champions league knock out stages. Loved it
Fun fact, I once had a picnic bench thrown at me when watching Marske play Ashington in a league cup quarter final or semi final (can't remember which exactly) a few years back. There have been some comments on a number of threads around non-league football and so which non-league team do you all follow? For me it is the might Ashington AFC, what with being my hometown and (mis)spending my youth and teenage years following them home and away across the North East.

Good people up there apart from the idiot who was built like the incredible hulk who did the bench throwing.

So that must have been the 4-1 first leg, before the nightmare began! I don't remember ever seeing that yellow spot on the seats, thought it was a Nike tick. My avatar photo is one I took before the CL semi final against Bayern in 2015, one of the best matches I've ever been to.

Bocadillo de jamón! Horrible but not as bad as the bocadillo de tortilla-Spanish omelette in a baguette.Wow what a match that must of been to go to. Unreal! Yeah it was the 4-1, Iniesta and Alba were the best players on the night and the Roma fans were fantastic I was close to them in the gods. They made a right racket and were a scary bunch, what is the baguette thing the Barca fans eat? With the meat in the middle wrapped in tinfoil. It smelled awful! Lol
