Millwall beating Preston 1-0, which means our gap is currently back up to 9 points.

Hope they win.
 
I think Sheffield will be making up the numbers in the PL next year and will drop straight back down. They will need to spend heavily and then that doesn't guarantee you a place at the big table.

Given they are both on the same number of points before the match wouldn't mind Preston being the winner here as I would prefer them in the playoffs to Millwall

Not overly intimidated by either team.
 
Millwall looks the most likely team to challenge Boro for 4th place. Wouldn't it be better for Boro if it was a draw or a Preston win?

They're 6 points behind us if even if they win, and it helps us secure a play-off spot.

Not many downsides to a Millwall win for me.
 
Looks, to me like every result is going against us, as things stand. That's a bit of a sod.

Edit - At least Sunderland aren't winning. That doesn't really mean anything, but I never like seeing Sunderland win.

It does mean something as they are still
In range we don’t want them anywhere near the play offs

What would be the best result in the Blackburn/Hull game later on? Presumably a draw. We don't want Blackburn to get three points but we don't want a confidence boosting away win for Hull either because we have to play them on Wednesday.
