playoff semi-final dates

NO, the match was shown as Monday for months and months.
It wasn’t, google had the date wrong if you searched but on the EFLs own site it just stated Saturday to Monday I’ve been following it for the last few months wondering what night to book. Waiting for them to clarify.

It was shown as monday. The only dispute is the date recently that it changed to the weekend span.
You are wrong.

I’m not, google and quite likely other sites may of had it wrong but it’s just said the dates on the EFL site since at least Jan. one of my mates booked Sunday and Monday first week of Jan after he’d looked online. I searched noticed google saying the Monday but checked the EFLs site and it didn’t state the days so we booked the Friday and Saturday as well as they often change them around. Both bookings were on free cancellation so we were covered anyway.

Google is a search engine.
The point was that from the start of this season the date was definitively shown as the monday. Thankfully others seem to also know this to be true.
At some point more recently, the date was changed and shown as the entire Bank Holiday. You can't go back obviously before that change on a live web site.

I know Google’s a search engine but if you searched in google it told you the championship playoff final date for 2023 was the Monday. It was pulling that from vip match days website for some reason rather than the EFL. Someone has updated though as it now says the Saturday but back in January the EFL site didn’t have the dates. As others have also pointed out.

What is it with you?
I am telling you that the EFL site had the Monday way way way before January.

The EFL page at https://www.efl.com/news/key-dates/ was crawled and archived by the waybackmachine

The dates it was crawled is available here: https://web.archive.org/web/20230000000000*/https://www.efl.com/news/key-dates/

I think that on all those dates the playoff finals were shown as being over the weekend without specific dates for each of the the three matches. Of course this doesn't mean that this page did not show different information on other days that it was not crawled by the internet archive.

And of course other websites, such as clubs, could have shown different information.

I honestly thought it was on the EFL page, turns out I’m wrong. Thanks for finding it.

The site wasn’t changed have a look at homersapiens post it just had the weekend dates since august.
It never like. I booked my leave at work last august and efl website had date listed as Monday 29th. I’ve had to change my leave this week as the date changed.

Whilst I think the 2022/23 key dates only had the play offs over the weekend without specific dates the the page for the 2021/22 key dates had information for 2022/23 added and on that page the championship play off final was definitely shown as Monday 29th May.

This is from the waybackmachine archived on 24th May 2022 https://web.archive.org/web/20220524112035/https://www.efl.com/news/key-dates/

By July 7th the 2021/22 dates had been removed and the play offs were shown without specific dates
