Labour Party exposee

My position on the Labour leadership is unchanged. I back whoever is the leader come election time, because under our current electoral system the only alternative is the bunch of ne'er-do-wells we're been stuck with for over a decade. In my heart of hearts I'd prefer someone further to the left than Starmer, but I'll back him just like I backed Corbyn and the leaders before him, because I want this cabal out as soon as possible.

I wonder if any of the many board members who threw their support behind Starmer when he first became leader have had second thoughts in the time since he took over?

Do a poll BBG. But it might be best to clarify what you mean by 'second thoughts'. Maybe add in another option 'yes, but I'm still supporting Labour'. It will be interesting.

I know that your position on the leadership is unchanged and I understand that, but I was wondering if anyone's opinion on the man himself had changed from when he took over until now.

No, still 100% will vote Labour. I want the Tories out.
I'm not asking for people's voting intentions, just if people's opinions on him have changed over the years. Has he gone up or down in anybody's estimation? Has anyone reappraised him as a politician or a person?

Ah, I see, my bad! You probably won't like this but you asked so I will be honest:

For me I still see him as the same person that I saw when he came to prominence as the shadow Brexit Secretary. I have been impressed how he has dealt with the Tories in his capacity as leader and how he has managed the Labour Party. He has got Labour into a position where they are electable which was pretty unimaginable to do so in such a short space of time following on from his appointment.

I can see why he has done what he has done over the last couple of years. I can also see how that would upset some people. On balance I think that as the party looks like they will win the next election as it stands it was worth it.
