The end?

What I got was a fairly detailed breakdown of what is going to happen in the coming weeks when the Ukrainian offensive really kicks into gear. Unfortunately, I can't post it, for obvious reasons. It was in 8 stages. Stage one is already underway.

It will be interesting to know how accurate our friends detailed information was as the Ukrainian offensives materialise. Will you be able to let us know as the progress and tactics publicly unfold?

Yep. And re. Navalny, he has long held the belief that Navalny is a racist/neo-nazi, despite being an enemy of Putin.
To be fair, none of the primary candidates are without issues ... Girkin murdered a plane full of people (or ordered it). Khodorkovsky has, shall we say, ways and means of getting what he wants that would make most of us squeamish.

That last update was a bit of a splurge I think, as he's been "domesticated" for a few weeks and staying away from all things Ukraine.

I agree it must be a typo or a different guy
Definitely the same guy. He’s long known as being an anti semetic Russian nationalist whose sole reason for tolerance from the west is that he was not quite as overtly murdery as Putin plus Putin clumsily tried to knock him off, so a case of my enemies enemy.

Got to admit to feeling a bit queasy about the documentary on him won the Oscar. Very good reasons for Britain to block his Mrs visa application for the BAFTAs.

Our man does not like Russians I think we can safely assert. I think he is wrong to generalise about Russians just as it is wrong to do so about Ukrainians. Russians are no different to the rest of humanity. One race, human. They want to live in peace and see their children grow up happy and safe, by and large. When you see ordinary Russians "doorstepped" you have to remember that they live in a state where people regularly disappear or fall out of windows they will necessarily toe the party line. Young Russians do not want to die in a Ukrainian field, they want to eat burgers, meet other young people, dance, drink, surf, ski, etc.

The Russian people deserve to be helped at the end of this too.

On a more military note I saw this was posted on Telegram and Twitter captured by a "passer-by" in Melitopol

I'm told this is a naval AA turret mounted onto a MT-LB chassis, smacks somewhat of desperation.

Thank you, Sting. ;)

I had seen a few photos of these tanks with the Navy guns on them. Some people are saying it's these attached to the tanks.

Actually he really does like Russians. He doesn't like the mob that run the place, but ordinary Russian people, he has a lot of time for. He is friends with Konstatin for instance.

Exactly this.

I’d genuinely like to see some proof of his anti-semitism and extreme views. I’m not saying it’s not true, just that it’s not something I’ve encountered as yet.

I know he’s had nationalist tendencies but that’s not remotely unusual in Russia and he’s been quite mild from what I’ve seen when it comes to Russians in general.

Ok, I'm going to have to backtrack on the anti semitic bit as that looks like it was part of a stitch up job which lead to Navalny being dropped by Amnesty as a prisoner of consionse a few years back - the stitch up being misinformation lead by RT

But regarding extreme views this article leads it all out in detail. I buy that its written from a Ukrainian perspective but it does lay it out in a way that identifies a pattern.

Much appreciated for the the reply but I’m going to disagree that there’s much detail, most of that article has little to do with Navalny and the views he actually holds, in fact it adds caveats that he’s changed some of his previous statements and he’s in favour of Ukrainian territorial integrity. I’m not sure I get the Belarus point the author is making as Belarus is absolutely a part of the war - this author seems so anti Russian that it’s clouding some of the sensible points they try to make.

Much of the last half of it is little to do with him directly at all and any political figure in Russia is likely to have made nationalist statements, it’s unpalatable but not extreme at all by Russian standards. He may well be an awful person, he might be dangerous, but I’ve still not seen anything convincing.
