Muniz

Yeah that could be it tbf. It’s a strange one like. But just shows we haven’t really missed him before last night because no one’s really mentioned him

In hindsight, it would have been good to be able to bring him and/or Jones off the bench last night.

Sonny Finch our only attacking option after Forss.

Do we need both Barlaser and Mowatt on the bench?

Could understand prioritising Mowatt over Muniz if he was planning on using him, but Hackney was having a poor game and Mowatt stayed on the bench.

I'd sooner have Muniz as an option than a very raw 17 year old.

It is much simpler, we've too many loans players in the matchday squad and you can't name more than we have and he clearly doesn't fancy Muniz at all.

Carrick has got great results with this squad - and without him - so just because of one draw I wouldn't be critical of his squad selection

Edit - not sure why it posted this comment when it wasn't showing when I typed the next one....

We've won nearly every game recently without Muniz - so I'd say Carrick has picked good enough squads in them
Also the game was mainly played in our half in the 2nd half with them getting chances - so we could even say we needed extra help at that end
If Carrick chooses not to select Muniz I'll trust his judgement on selection

I imagine it's cost us a fortune in terms of loan fee and wage percentage. That's for little or no return.

To think we have wanted him for nearly 2 years. We could easily have bought him for 6-7mil.

It's simply not worked out. I'm sure we and probably Fulham tried to move him on in Jan. Especially as we added to our loans. So he's effectively stuck in limbo.
