In a 1st divison match, we started the year beating Man Utd at AP when Davenport scored his 1st Boro goal on the 2nd January & a fortnight later we won at Southampton 3-1 then followed a winless 7 game run

25th March, 2 debuts that day, Mark Proctor, from Sheff Weds, making his 2nd Boro debut & Mark Barham, from Huddersfield, making his debut, one of 3 starts & a sub appearence

Bernie Slaven, who else, scoring his 9th goal of the season putting Boro 1-0 up, Wimbledon equalised with both teams settling for a point each

Bruce Rioch picked the following team

Stephen Pears
Gary Parkinson
Colin Cooper
Tony Mowbray
Mark Proctor
Gary Pallister
Bernie Slaven
Gary Gill
Stuart Ripley
Peter Davenport
Mark Barham
Sub

With an inflatable skeleton in the crowd and a banana I think..
Cant remember that, better memory than me

I travelled down with a girl who worked in the ticket office, we went in to the seast & in to an executive 'portacabin' at HT

I was at that game erimus - my one and only trip there. Don’t remember much about the game other than it being pretty uninspiring and Bernie scoring

I've got very hazy memory of Gary Pallister missing a great chance in this game, though there's no sign of it on the video I found, so maybe not. I do remember the enormous Wimbledon programme. It was glossy and the size of a tabloid. Used in the event of rain in the uncovered end at Plough Lane
