Clarke played very well but equally did rvb but he gets a smidgen of the accolades.

He has certainly proved me wrong. Expecting him to start next season.
Fry is stagnating here. His injury record over many seasons is also appalling. Time to be moved on.Some berks on here still say Fry is a starter for next season, give your heads a shake. Clarke & VDB are the must start CB partnership next season with Lenihan as backup. Clarke has been magnificent this season. Fry should have been moved on a season or two or ago, lacks pace and is as weak as they come.

Do you know something, are we buying someone? We will have one of the strongest centre halve pairings in the Championship next season.
It will be interesting as well to see how Lenihan will perform after being out for so long. Fingers crossed it doesn't take him too long to get up to speed.
And those pinning their hopes on Clarke need to look at the Ipswich goal, two of the Leeds goals, the penalty he gave away against Leeds at Elland Road, the Sheff Wed player running at him and going past him like a statue, and the Norwich goal when he allows Barnes to run off him. That is without really trying so I am sure there are many more incidents. Some berks on here still say Fry is a starter for next season, give your heads a shake. Give your head a shake man...... you remember fry trying to shield the ball out a few seasons back and being out muscled again...Do you know something, are we buying someone?

Clarke's did a job and held a make shift defence together at times but please don't get commitment mixed up with ability.
I'm only happy that Carrick feels the same way as I do and when Fry is fit he starts in front of Clarke. Clarke is an average championship centre-half at best.Give your head a shake man...... you remember fry trying to shield the ball out a few seasons back and being out muscled again...
.and countless other times. Ability you say as a CB you need ability and commitment...Clarke is far superior in every way as a CB.
Nonsense, you will see next season....dont say I didn't tell you ;-)I'm only happy that Carrick feels the same way as I do and when Fry is fit he starts in front of Clarke. Clarke is an average championship centre-half at best.
Go through the highlights and then tell me I am wrong.Nonsense, you will see next season....dont say I didn't tell you ;-)

The evidence is there for everyone to see, look at the goals we've conceded and who is responsible for them. I've named a few above but there are plenty of others. There is no point telling him or any of us telling you are wrong. You never accept it.
It’s not even up for debate that he’s been absolutely outstanding since coming back into the side. You are in a very small minority. It happens, we all get stuff wrong. Just like me on Scott.

Fry has had his fair share of howlers and awful positioning. It seems to take him so long to get back up to speed after an injury lay-off which is very problematic given he seems to be made of glass.Go through the highlights and then tell me I am wrong.

I don’t think he has kicked on and fulfilled his potential here. I’d be amazed if Carrick sees him as first choice CB next season.
He's only playing because Fry is injured. There is plenty of evidence of him putting in man of the match performances too and being nominated for a player of the month. He’s an absolutely fantastic CB for this level.
He’s been better than Fry by a long way this season.
