It used to be worse than that until fairly recently. There didn't used to be any lower age limit, though you would likely be charged with child abuse if a child under 2 in your care was allowed a drink. Whisky on the gums to ease teething pains was fine though 👀

16/17 year olds can legally drink (alcoholic) beer, wine or cider with a meal in a pub as long as an adult purchases it for them. My granddaughter had to prove she was 16 to buy lucozade in Tesco.

The focus on climate change probably puts as many people off as it does attract new voters. Their supporters should really talk more about their plans to help the most vulnerable and improve society in general. If saving the planet is a by product then great, but like it or not, not enough...

That maybe the case from a purely financial point of view, but from a footballing view I think FH is right. If we'd have gone up and spent £30m + on Giles, Archer and Steffen that's a big chunk of our budget just to maintain an existing play-off winning team with zero improvements.
