Only in the last two seasons. I don’t know what changed, but before last season his form wasn’t good at all - hence not getting a squad number initially before his final season here. Proved a lot of people wrong last season and scored regularly at Ajax. But to say he’s scored consistently...

It’s still pretty quiet as far as the town itself goes, I think. They’ve just completed renovations to open more of the castle up to visitors. We’re there for a day and a half, then Berlin.

We’ve booked for three nights, but plan to leave after two. Am knotting bedsheets as I type…

My favorite time of year, but I don’t suffer with hay fever - my daughters does, bless her. So I can sympathise. Light nights. Warm days. Being outside. It just works for me.
