OK here's some education:
Why are we helping them to shore, putting them up in hotels and feeding them when there are homeless people on the streets who've paid taxes in this country?
Because we're able to and because we're civilised. You think we should just let them arrive here and starve in the streets? While you're sat at home in comfort in front of your computer with your beer, you simply cannot imagine how horrific it must be to be so desperate that you felt your only option in life was to pack your stuff, leave your home and your friends and try to make your way 1000s of miles to another country with no idea who where what will happen to you or your family. Migration under such a burden of stress is something to be admired. Think about it, seriously, imagine yourself and what you would do in such a situation, if you can, it's not easy. Then imagine someone sat in their armchair dismissing your efforts and that you should just 'go home'.
All young men basically invading the country. Seeking asylum? b***ks.
How do you know they don't have a genuine reason to seek asylum? You don't, do you?
Why don't they seek asylum in France? Or Spain? Or Italy? Or whichever other country they land in first.
For every 1 that lands here maybe 100 stay on the continent. You don't know, do you? Perhaps they speak English, perhaps they have friends and family here? If you don't know, then shut up.
Excellent post RH.
